Warhammer 40k: The Last Marine
Description
This game was developed by a team of 40 people over the course of 4 months for the university subject of project 3.
My work has focused on being a gameplay and enemy programmer, although during the first sprint I collaborated with other teammates to develop the Input module for the engine. As a gameplay programmer, I implemented the first iteration of the grenade, which is thrown in a parabolic arc and deals damage to enemies. I also developed the armor upgrade system, which activates visual enhancements and provides additional benefits to the player. Additionally, I created the scrap generation system that triggers when enemies are defeated. The arena battle with the miniboss was another task I was responsible for. Lastly, I fixed various bugs related to enemy behavior, ensuring they functioned correctly.
